Our shop is over at 52-A in the Bommasandra Industrial Estate. It is situated right next to the KIADB office, so it is not too hard to find us if you are familiar with this part of town. Being out on Hosur Road means a lot of us spend a good chunk of our time commuting every single day. The traffic near Silk Board can be a real headache, but that is just a part of life for anyone working in this area. Accord Laser Machining has been in this particular shed for several years. It is a heavy industrial area, so it is always noisy and there is usually the smell of cut metal or machine grease in the air. We have the laser machines running most of the day, and they make a very specific humming sound that you hear as soon as you walk in. It is definitely not a place for someone who likes a lot of peace and quiet. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of white paint, but we are much more worried about keeping the equipment in good shape and running correctly. There is a lot of heavy lifting and shifting parts around on the floor. We have a small office area partitioned off from the main workspace where we handle the orders and look at the technical drawings. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer, so we keep the big shutters open.
