This is Abhimanyu Hallmarking Llp. We are tucked away in the middle of Nagarthapet, specifically on Pillappa Lane. Our spot is in the BS Complex at No 33. We are located way up on the 5th floor. Nagarthapet is always crowded and moving with people and carts, so finding a bit of space on the top floor helps us focus on the tasks at hand. Hallmarking is what we do here all day long. It’s very precise work that requires a lot of concentration, so we keep the environment practical and quiet when we can. The lane itself is quite narrow and always busy, which is typical for this part of the old city. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know the neighbors pretty well. It’s not a place with shiny floors or big neon signs. It’s just a place where the work actually gets done. Most of the people who come to see us are already in the jewelry trade and know exactly what they need. We deal with a lot of different small pieces every single day. The 5th floor can be a bit of a climb if the power goes out, but we are used to it by now. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the streets to reach us sometimes. But that’s just Nagarthapet life. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the tools and the markings. It’s a straightforward business with no fancy talk. We just do the work.
