Aaina Beauty Salon

We started Aaina Beauty Salon a while back over here on 100 Foot Anandnagar Road. It’s right in Electronic City at V-2, which gets pretty busy during the week. Most days it’s just us doing hair and helping people get ready for whatever they have going on. The shop isn't a huge place but we keep it tidy enough. Sometimes the music is a bit loud because we like it that way. If you’ve walked past the shop, you probably saw the chairs through the front window. People drop in after work mostly. We do a lot of threading and simple haircuts. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan going full blast. We’ve known some of our neighbors for years now. It feels good to be part of the street here. My cousin used to work the front desk, but now it’s mostly just us handling the books and the clients at the same time. We don't have any fancy waiting area, just a couple of stools where you can sit and wait your turn. Sometimes we run out of tea, but there’s a stall nearby. We just do our work and go home. That's how it's been since we opened. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure people leave looking okay. It’s a decent little spot and we like being here in this part of town.
