Transcend India

Transcend India. Room No. 306, Karnani Mansion, 25-A, Park Street. If you know Park Street, you know Karnani Mansion. It’s one of those big, old buildings that has seen a lot of history. We are up in Room No. 306. Getting there involves either a bit of a walk up the stairs or taking the old lift if it's working that day. The hallways are long and have that specific smell of old concrete and dust. Our room isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We’ve got our desks pushed up against the walls to make space for all the files and equipment. From the window, you can hear the constant honking and the noise of the crowds on Park Street. It’s a very different world inside the office compared to the street below. We’ve been at 25-A for quite some time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. We are too busy with the daily grind of running Transcend India. It's mostly paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. People come by for meetings and we offer them some tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a busy, functional space. We don't try to impress anyone with the office. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and make sure everything is handled properly before we lock up for the night. The city moves fast out there.
