Tirupati Float Glass Pvt. Ltd. is situated at A-13/16, Meerut Road, right in Industrial Area-Iii. We are pretty close to the Uttam Toyota showroom, which helps people find us because the industrial area can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it. Working with glass is a nervous kind of job. You have to be careful every single time you move a sheet because one small mistake and everything breaks into a thousand pieces. Our warehouse is big and can get very cold in the winter and roasting in the summer. We have these big specialized racks and lifting equipment to handle the heavy stuff. It isn’t a quiet place. There is always the sound of machines cutting or the hum of the overhead cranes. We aren't interested in being the flashiest company around. We just focus on getting the glass cut to the right size and loaded onto the trucks without any cracks. The road outside is usually full of potholes and heavy traffic, which makes our jobs even more stressful when we are trying to ship out fragile orders. Most of the staff here have been handling glass for a long time, so they have the scars to prove it. We just show up, do the heavy lifting, and try to make sure we don't break anything before the day is over. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it.
