You can find the Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Ltd. office on the 2nd Floor of the Vanavikas Building. It’s located on 18th Cross in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Malleshwaram has that old-school vibe with all the trees and the markets nearby. Our office is usually quite busy because we deal with infrastructure projects in rural areas. There are always people coming in from different districts with reports or requests. It’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of. We spend a lot of time coordinating between different government departments and the actual work happening on the ground. It’s not always a smooth process. There are plenty of meetings and long discussions about budgets and materials. We’re not a flashy private firm. The office feels lived-in, with stacks of files and old wooden desks. It’s a place where real work happens. We focus on things like roads and buildings that people actually need out in the countryside. Sometimes the bureaucracy can be a bit much, but we just keep pushing through it. Everyone here knows the drill. We start early and often stay late to make sure things are moving along. It’s a lot of responsibility, and we take it seriously, even if the office is a bit crowded and the tea is sometimes cold. We’ve been part of this building for a long time now and just do our daily work.
