Design Globe

Design Globe is located out near Hessarghatta Lake, at number 21. It’s a bit further out than some other places, but we like the atmosphere here. It’s a bit quieter and gives us space to think. Our workspace is filled with all sorts of things we’ve picked up over the years. We do a lot of different types of design work here. Sometimes it’s for local projects and other times it’s for people further away. We have a lot of books on architecture and art that we flip through when we’re stuck on an idea. The office isn’t very large, but it’s enough for what we need. We usually start the day by checking the emails and then moving onto the drawing boards. We have a lot of physical models around the room too. It helps to see things in 3D rather than just on a screen. The lake being nearby is nice for a walk when we need to clear our heads. We aren’t a big corporate firm; it’s just us working on projects we care about. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors about lead times and costs. It’s a lot of practical management on top of the creative stuff. We’ve been at this location for a while and have gotten used to the pace of life out here. It suits the way we work. Most of the time, we’re just trying to get the details right for our next deadline.
