Anugraha Chemicals

Our unit is No D48 in the KSSIDC Industrial Estate over in Dodballapura. It’s a bit of a drive out there, but it’s where all the industrial activity happens. We have been here for a while now, working with different chemical batches. The space is mostly filled with blue drums and storage tanks. We have to be pretty careful with how we move things around, so there is a lot of checking and re-checking. It’s not a quiet place; there’s always a pump running or the sound of a forklift somewhere in the distance. The air smells a bit like ozone and cleaning supplies most of the time. We have a small office section partitioned off, but mostly we are out on the floor making sure the mixing and packing is going the way it should. The estate itself is quite large, and sometimes it's hard for people to find our specific block if they aren't used to the layout. We get our supplies delivered in big trucks that take up the whole road sometimes. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders we have. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving sacks and containers, but it’s what we do for the most part. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Just the unit number on the door and the work going on inside. It can be long hours but we are used to it.
