Jainnian Di Hatti

If you find yourself on Railway Road in Banga, you’ll likely see our sign. Jainnian Di Hatti is right there in the Cinema Market area, on the main road. It’s a lively part of the district with people coming from all over to shop or catch a bus. Our shop has been a part of this street for years, and we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit. Inside, it is usually packed with stock from the floor to the ceiling. We don’t really have a lot of space to walk around, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. Whether it is a busy festival season or a slow afternoon in July, we are usually behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. Being on the Main Road Banga means we get a lot of travelers passing through who just need something quickly before they head to the station. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people know us because their parents or grandparents used to shop here too. It’s just a regular local business where we talk about the weather and the price of goods over the counter. The market can get quite loud with the traffic and the cinema nearby, but we like the energy of it. It’s a simple life of opening up early, sweeping the front, and making sure the shelves are full for whoever comes by.
