We are known as Skardu Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our main base is over at 100 Kva Arampora in Bandipora, which falls under the Baramulla district with the pin code 193502. You can usually find Khursheed Ahmad Jan there, as he is a big part of what we do. We are basically a group of farmers who came together to make sure we could grow and sell organic products without having to rely on big companies. It is a collective effort, and everyone puts in their share of the work. Bandipora is a rugged place, and farming here can be tough when the weather turns, but we have been doing it this way for a long time. We do not have any glossy brochures or big marketing budgets. Most of our time is spent talking about crops, soil, and how to get things to grow naturally. It is a very hands-on kind of business, and there is always something that needs fixing or tending to at our spot in Arampora. We are just local people who care about the land and want to keep farming the way our families always have, just with a more official setup as a producer company. It is not about making a huge profit; it is more about making sure the farmers here have a way to keep going. We just take it day by day and work hard.
