District Hospital

The District Hospital here in Amlikaur is where most people go when they are feeling under the weather. We are right in the middle of Amlikaur and the building has been a part of the town for as long as most of us can remember. It is a simple, no-nonsense place. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly just white paint and some old posters about health. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. It isn't a high-tech facility, but we have the basics covered. People from all over Amlikaur come here because they trust that we will do what we can. We see a lot of regular faces. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello to the nurses. It can get quite hot inside during the summer months, but we have some fans that keep the air moving. We don't use any corporate language or try to sell ourselves. We are just a hospital. We deal with broken bones, fevers, and all the usual stuff. The work is steady and there is always something to do. The desks are a bit cluttered with paperwork and the chairs in the waiting room are a little squeaky. That is just how it is. We aren't trying to be anything special, we are just the local medical spot for the people living in Amlikaur.
