Bhagwati Prasad Degree College

Bhagwati Prasad Degree College is situated on the Banda Road in Baberu, right near where Abhilash Opticals is located. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the students who come from the smaller villages around the 210121 area, but they make it here most mornings. The college isn't a massive university, just a local place for young adults to continue their education after they finish school. We have several classrooms and a bit of space for the staff to sit and do their paperwork. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the trucks go by, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of lectures and students talking. We offer various degrees, and the professors here are mostly interested in getting through the syllabus so the kids can pass their exams. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don't have a big cafeteria or a gym, just the essentials for learning. Most of the people working here have been around for a while and know the local families. We deal with the usual stuff like admissions, exam forms, and keeping the building in decent shape. It’s practical work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open the windows for some air, but we just keep the classes going as best as we can. It’s a significant spot for the community here in Baberu, providing a place for higher learning without having to travel too far away from home.
