Vaishnodevi Refoils & Solvex

Our place is Plot No. 235/3 in the Chandisar G. I. D. C. zone. We are located right in the village of Chandisar, which is part of the Banaskantha district. It’s a pretty busy industrial area, and we have been part of the landscape here for many years. The smell of the processing is something you get used to after a couple of days. We have a solid crew of local people who know how to run the refinery. Vaishnodevi Refoils & Solvex isn't a place with marble floors or fancy lights. It’s a working plant with pipes, tanks, and lots of concrete. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the summer months, so we try to keep the ventilation fans running all the time. Our office is just a small room near the front gate where the phone rings more than it should. We handle a lot of logistics because getting things in and out of Banaskantha takes some planning. Sometimes the local monkeys come and sit on the boundary wall, watching us work. We just ignore them and get on with the daily tasks. It’s a practical way of living. We make sure the equipment is maintained and the floors are swept. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of, but the real work happens out on the floor with the oil and the machines.
