We keep the yard stocked with all the usual stuff like sand, cement, gravel, and whatever else people need for construction. It gets pretty hot out here in Deesa, so we try to do the heavy loading in the morning before it gets unbearable. My father started this and now we just keep it going as a family business. It’s a messy business, honestly. There is always sand on the floor and the smell of cement in the air. We have a small cabin where we keep the books and take payments.
