You will find Maa Vankal Corporation at Plot No. 196, right on the Main Line. Being on the Main Line means there is always noise from the street, but it makes it easy for the delivery drivers to find us without getting lost. We have a fairly standard warehouse setup here. It’s basically one large room with high ceilings and a concrete floor that has a few cracks from all the heavy lifting over the years. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the big shutters open most of the day to let the air through. It’s a lot of checking lists and moving inventory from one side of the room to the other. We don't have a big office or a place for guests to sit. Usually, if someone stops by, we just talk to them right there by the door. We have a small wooden desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of our work is repetitive, but we don't mind it because it's steady. We know the other business owners on the Main Line and we sometimes borrow tools from each other. It’s a regular industrial life with no frills or fancy extras. We just show up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and lock up the gate when we’re finished. It’s practical work and it doesn't need much more explanation than that.
