Shubh Hospital

Shubh Hospital is located right by Gaytri Mandir. It’s a very recognizable spot because of the temple. Often, you can hear the bells or the music from the temple while you’re inside the hospital, which is sort of nice, I suppose. The hospital isn't the biggest place, but we handle a lot of people from the nearby area. We have a small entrance and a reception area that usually has a stack of paperwork waiting to be filed. The rooms for the patients are pretty basic—just a bed, a chair for a visitor, and the necessary medical stands. We don’t have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in movies; we just have what’s needed to take care of folks who are unwell. Working here near Gaytri Mandir means we see a lot of people who are part of the local community. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different rooms. The air smells like antiseptic most of the time, which is just part of the job. Our staff is just a bunch of regular people who live around here. We don't put on any acts or use big words. If someone is sick, they come in, and we see what we can do for them. It’s a plain, honest kind of place where the days are long but we just keep moving through them. That’s how it is at our hospital by the mandir. We just do what we can.
