Shree Ram Industries

Our place is on Plot No. 54 in the G.I.D.C. area of Chandisar. If you’ve ever been out this way in Banaskatha, you know it’s a lot of industrial plots and heavy trucks moving around. We’ve been set up here for quite some time. Shree Ram Industries isn't a massive factory, but we keep the machines running most of the time. The floor is concrete and usually has some scraps or dust on it by midday. We try to sweep up before we head home, but it’s an industrial site, so it never stays clean for long. There’s a rhythm to the work here that you get used to. The sound of the machinery is just background noise to us now. We have a small office near the front gate where we handle the paperwork. It’s usually cooler in there than out on the floor. Most of the guys have been with us for years, so we don't have to explain much anymore. We just know what needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of producing anything. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It is hard work, but it pays the bills and keeps the community moving forward in its own small way.
