Shradhha Medical

I usually get here around eight in the morning just as the temple bells near the Sai Baba Temple Bagicha start to ring. It is a quiet time for the neighborhood but the shop needs a good sweep before the sun gets too high. Shradhha Medical isn't a very large place, just enough room for the counters and the tall shelves we had built a few years back. The glass on the cabinets always gets fingerprints on it, no matter how many times a day I wipe it down with an old cloth. People stop by after they visit the temple or when they are taking a walk through the bagicha area. Most of the time they just need something for a headache or a bandage for a scraped knee. I spend a lot of my day looking at the green leaves of the trees outside the front door and listening to the ceiling fan hum above my head. It has a bit of a wobble that makes a clicking sound if I turn it up to the highest setting. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the entrance where everyone walks, but that is just how it is when a place is used every day. We keep the medicines organized as well as we can, though sometimes the boxes get a bit shuffled when we are in a hurry. It feels like a small part of the life here near the temple, just a regular shop where people come when they don't feel quite right.
