A. P. Motors

You can find A. P. Motors right on the Rajosana Road near the Chhapi Highway. Being out here at Rajosana in the Vadgam taluka means we see a lot of vehicles passing by all day and night. The highway noise is just something we got used to after a while. Most of the time we are covered in a bit of oil or grease because that is just the nature of working on motors. We have a basic shed where we keep the tools and the floor is usually a bit stained from the work. It’s not a shiny showroom but we have what we need to get jobs done. People driving through often stop when they have a problem or if they need something checked. We try to help them out so they can get back on the road. Some days it is very hot under the roof and we have to take breaks in the shade with some cold water. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the locals know us by name. We don’t have a big team just a few people who know their way around an engine. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if a truck needs fixing urgently and the driver is in a hurry. We just take things as they come and try to do a solid job every time.
