Green Field Seeds

You can find Green Field Seeds right near the Ram Mandir. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don’t really need to give directions much. Being close to the temple means it’s always lively around here. We spend our days surrounded by bags of seeds and the smell of the earth. Farmers come in from the surrounding villages to see what we have in stock for the next planting season. We’ve got stacks of different varieties piled up in the back room. Some days it’s quiet, just us checking the inventory and sweeping the floor. Other days, like when the monsoon is about to start, it gets really hectic. Everyone wants their seeds at the same time. We try to keep up with the demand, but sometimes the supply is tricky. My family has been involved in this kind of work for a long time. It’s not a glamorous job, and your clothes usually end up covered in dust by noon. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they just walk through the front door. We sit on plastic chairs and talk about the rain or the crop prices. It’s a slow pace of life most of the time. We know our customers by their first names and often their fathers' names too. It’s just how it is in a small place.
