Nandanvan Gramudhyog

Nandanvan Gramudhyog is situated in a very special spot in Banaskantha. We are located right below the Manglam Dining Hall, which means we can often smell whatever is cooking for lunch. Being opposite the main gate of the Ambaji Temple brings a lot of energy to our doorstep. There are always pilgrims and travelers walking by, and the sound of bells or chanting is just part of our daily life. The space is humble and filled with the kinds of things you’d expect from a village industry. Local products are what we handle, and keeping traditional ways going is important to us. It’s a bit dusty because of all the foot traffic outside, but no one really minds. Most of the people working here are locals who know the area inside and out. There aren't any fancy marketing plans or big slogans here. We just put our items out and talk to whoever walks through the door. During festival seasons, the crowds are incredible, while other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds in the trees. Everyone sits on old wooden chairs and we use simple tools to keep our records. It’s a very honest way to work, being so close to the temple and the heart of the community. Trying to change the world isn't our goal; we just want to provide something useful to the folks who visit Ambaji. It’s a busy, noisy, and wonderful place to spend our days.
