Momai Tea Stall

If you find yourself in Radhanpur at the Char Rasta, you’ll probably see us. Our stall is located at Maruti Plaza, right near the highway chokri. Traffic never really stops around here. We have the setup ready for anyone passing through. It’s a very basic place with a couple of benches and a big stove. Menus aren't something we use. Everyone already knows what we have to offer. Most of the day goes into boiling milk and brewing the tea. The highway gets noisy and dusty, but that is where the people are. A lot of truck drivers stop here looking for a quick break and a hot glass. Corporate strategies and fancy brands aren't our thing. We just keep the tea leaves fresh and the sugar ready. Maruti Plaza stays busy with all the other shops, so something is always happening. Sometimes shouting is necessary just to be heard over the engines. We start serving before the sun comes up and stay until late at night. It is a lot of work and our hands stay stained from the tea, but that’s just part of the job. No big goals exist here other than making sure the next customer gets their drink quickly. Life at the crossroads is simple and honest. This is just what we do. Being part of Maruti Plaza is good for us. We look forward to the highway travelers every day.
