Metro Pvc Industries

Metro Pvc Industries is set up in Village Navavas Kotada. We’re out in the Nakhatrana area, specifically in the Deodar taluka. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where we have the space for our PVC work. The air is a bit clearer than in the city, though the factory floor stays pretty warm. We make various pipes and fittings here. It’s a lot of heat and plastic, so it smells a certain way, but you get used to it after the first hour. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We aren't a high-tech facility with robots. It’s mostly us handling the molds and checking the extruders ourselves. The roads around Kotada can be a bit rough, especially when the rains come, so we have to plan our shipping carefully. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just make the pipes, load them onto the trucks, and send them to the distributors. Some days the machines give us trouble, and we spend the whole afternoon with wrenches and grease. That’s just part of the job. We have a small office area where we keep the books and take orders over the phone. It's a quiet place mostly, except for the hum of the production line. We like being out here where we have room to breathe.
