Madhav Aluminium

Madhav Aluminium is out on the Thara-Diyodar Road. We are at Plot No. 2 in the Ambika Complex. Being on the main road is good because it makes it easier for the bigger vehicles to find us. Thara is a place where everyone knows everyone. The complex is relatively new compared to some of the older shops in the center of town. We have a big open space where we keep the aluminum stock. It is mostly for building work like window frames and doors. The sun can be really strong out here, so the metal gets hot if it is left near the front for too long. We have a small cabin where we keep the books and take some shade. It is a quiet area until a big truck rolls in or someone starts a generator nearby. We don't have many people working here, just a few of us who handle the heavy lifting and the sales. Most of our customers are local contractors from the surrounding villages. They come in their small pick-up trucks to collect their orders. We spend the day weighing things and writing out bills. There is a lot of waiting around sometimes between customers. We usually keep some cold water in a clay pot because the heat is no joke. It is a basic setup, but it works for what we need to do every day. We just stay steady.
