Hetal Masala Stores

Hetal Masala Stores is located right near the Nenava Road in the village. If you know the area in Banas Kantha, you probably passed by us near the post office. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of spices. It’s a small operation, mostly family and a couple of neighbors helping out. The smell of ground chillies and turmeric is always in the air here. It can get quite strong sometimes, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't do any big advertising. Most people who buy from us just live nearby or are passing through the village on their way somewhere else. We get our stock from local sources when we can. The shop is simple, just some shelves and the grinding machine in the back. It’s dusty work, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait to finish the grinding, which can be annoying when there’s a lot to do. We usually open early in the morning when it's still a bit cool outside. By midday, it gets hot, so we take a short break. It’s just a normal village life for us. We’ve been at this location for years now and haven't seen much reason to change how things are done. It works for us and the people who come here. We just take things as they come.
