Divya Polymers

We’ve been here at the GIDC Industrial Estate in Chandisar for a while now. Divya Polymers is basically just us working through the daily tasks at No. K-1/114/37 to 40. It’s a busy spot in Palanpur and the heat gets pretty intense during the summer months, but we just keep moving. Most of our days are spent handling the materials and making sure things get loaded onto the trucks correctly. There isn't much fancy about what we do. It’s mostly just making sure the machines are running and the plastic gets where it needs to go. We see a lot of the same faces around the estate every morning. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine needs a bit of fixing, and that’s just part of the routine here in Gujarat. People know where to find us if they need something. We don't spend a lot of time on the computer or writing things down, we'd rather be on the floor. It can be noisy and dusty, but it's what we know. We started with a small setup and slowly added more space over the years. Now we use all the units from 37 to 40. It’s enough room for what we need to get done. If you drive through the estate, you’ll see our gate. We usually have the doors open to let some air in while we work. It’s just honest work day in and day out.
