We are based up in Palanpur, in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat. The office is located in Ayodhya-Nagar, which is just off the Gobri-Road near the Modi-Nagar area. Palanpur is not like the big metropolitan cities; things move at their own pace here and people take the time to talk to each other. We usually start our day early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes difficult to work in. Most of the work here involves talking to different people across the state and making sure the logistics and materials are moving to where they need to be. We have a lot of local people working in this office who have been with us for a long time. The office is at house number 73. It is not a huge building, but it gives us enough room for our desks and the paperwork we have to track. We usually have a small radio playing some local music in the background while we work. The road outside can get pretty busy with tractors and local transport trucks, so there is always some noise coming from the street. We do not really do formal meetings; if something needs to be fixed, we just talk across the room to each other. It is a lot of manual checking of lists and filling out forms. Sometimes the internet connection gets slow, and we all just wait it out together. It feels more like a small family unit than a big company.
