A-Tech Industries

A-Tech Industries is tucked away at 317/2 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. If you know the area, it’s not too hard to find, though all the sheds start to look the same after a while. We spend most of our time out on the shop floor. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the middle of summer, but we’ve got our fans going. We do a lot of manufacturing work here. There’s always the sound of machines humming in the background. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend half the morning fixing it, which puts us behind, but that’s just part of running a shop in an industrial estate. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the parts we send out are okay and that we treat people fairly. Most of our neighbors in Dediyasan are doing similar things, so there is a bit of a community feeling here. We keep our doors open to let the air circulate. It’s a dusty place, and our boots are usually dirty by the time we head home, but it feels good to work with your hands and see something being made from scratch every day. We usually grab lunch from the small stall down the road and get right back to work on the current batch of orders.
