Visnubhai C. Thakkar

This is the place of Visnubhai C. Thakkar, located over at Plot No. 114/32 in the Chandisar Gidc Estate. Being in a Gidc estate means there is always something going on next door or across the street. The roads are a bit rough around here, especially after the monsoon rains, so you have to be careful driving in. Our plot isn't the biggest one in the estate but it fits everything we need to do for the day. We spend a lot of time checking on things and making sure everything is in order. It’s mostly just a few of us here every day working through the tasks. The office part is small and crowded with files and old ledgers that have been there for years. The location works for us because it’s easy for people to find once they get into the estate. There’s a constant hum from the factories nearby, which becomes like white noise after a while. We don't have any big corporate policies or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and the estate gets real quiet at night. It’s a different kind of feeling then when the lights are low. We’ve been part of Chandisar for a long time and we’re just another part of the industrial landscape here.
