Floresh Steel Ball Industries

We are based at Plot No. 24 in the Gidc Estate. This is where Floresh Steel Ball Industries operates. It’s a loud place because we are dealing with thousands of small steel balls rolling around in metal drums. They clatter and bang all day long. The floor is concrete and usually has a thin layer of oil on it to keep things from rusting. We spend our shifts watching the machines and making sure the sizes stay consistent. It’s repetitive work, but you have to pay attention or things go wrong. We have big bins full of finished product waiting to be packed up. The heat from the machines makes the workspace pretty warm, especially in the afternoons. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of big fans that move the hot air around. Our team is small, mostly just local guys who know how to handle the machinery. We don't spend much time talking because of the noise. We just get on with it. Sometimes we have to sort through a batch by hand if something looks off. It’s tough on the eyes and the hands. Gidc Estate is always humming with activity, and we are just another shop in the row. We start early, we work hard, and we head home when the job is done for the day. No one here wears a suit, and the radio is usually playing in the corner.
