About Banas Oil Mill – Food & Beverages in Banaskantha
Banas Oil Mill takes up a few spots here at Gidc Estate, specifically from Plot No. 115 to 118. Having that extra room helps because running an oil mill takes up a decent amount of space. You can usually smell what we’re doing before you even see the sign. It’s that heavy, earthy scent of seeds being processed. The floors are often a bit slick, so we have to be careful where we walk. It’s a loud place too, with the machines humming along all day. We’ve got a decent group of people working here. Most of us have been around for years. We aren't much for sitting in offices; most of the time is spent out on the floor checking the presses. Being in the Gidc Estate means we have plenty of neighbors doing similar industrial work. It’s a good community. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the shop next door if we’re in a pinch. Plot No. 115 To 118 is a large enough area that we don't feel too cramped. We keep the equipment running as best as we can. It’s old school work. No fancy tech, just mechanical stuff that needs regular oiling and attention. That’s life at Banas Oil Mill. It’s messy and hard work, but it’s what we do.
