Ambica Cattle Feed Ind.

We are based out of Plot No. 143 in the Chandisar Gidc Estate. This is where we make the cattle feed. It’s a practical location for us since many of the people we work with are in the surrounding rural areas. The air around here usually smells like grain and molasses, which is something you get used to pretty fast. We spend our days mixing the different ingredients and making sure the bags are filled properly. It's heavy work and it gets quite dusty inside the shed, especially when the grinders are running. We don't have a big corporate office or anything, just a small space where we keep the books and take calls. Most of the time, someone is out back moving pallets or checking the inventory. We’ve been in Chandisar for a long time now. The estate is a bit worn down in places, but it works for us. It’s a simple business. We get the raw materials in, process them, and then the farmers or distributors come to pick up the bags. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s life in the Gidc. We try to keep things moving as best as we can without making things too complicated. It’s a small crew here, and we all know what needs to be done every morning. We take a lunch break together and then get back to filling the orders for the local dairy farms.
