You can find us near the railway crossing on the Ahmedabad Highway. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the trucks and the trains passing by. The noise of the crossing bell is something you just get used to after a week. We’ve been operating from this location for a good bit of time. It’s not a polished office with glass walls or anything. It’s more of a practical space where things get done. We handle things as they come. The highway is always busy, especially early in the morning. Sometimes we have to wait for the trains to pass just to get out of the gate. It’s just how it is here. We deal with whatever tasks are on the list for the day. There isn’t much around us except for a few other warehouses and the road. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The sun can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all day. People stop by if they’re driving through. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don’t have any fancy brochures. If you need to find us, just look for the crossing. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just keeping the gears turning and making sure the work is finished properly. It’s hard work but it’s what we know best after all these years.
