Asatha Pharmacehm (Export)

Working from the basement of Astha House over by Kirtistabh, it’s not the most bright or airy office, but it’s where we do all our export work. Asatha Pharmacehm has been here for a while now. Most of our day is spent dealing with shipping papers, customs forms, and talking to people in different time zones. It’s a lot of sitting in front of computer screens. Since we focus on exports, we don’t get many walk-in customers. It’s mostly just the staff and the occasional courier bringing in more documents. The basement can get a bit stuffy, so we usually have a fan or the AC going. We’ve got shelves full of files and samples that we need to send out. It’s a quiet place for the most part, until the phone starts ringing in the afternoon. We don’t have any fancy marketing people here. We just make sure the chemicals and pharma products are packed right and the labels have all the correct information for whichever country they are going to. Kirtistabh is a well-known spot, so it’s easy for the drivers to find us when they need to pick up a load. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure we don’t make any mistakes with the shipping addresses. It’s steady work and we’re used to the basement life.
