Shree Sundha Gold Jewellers Llp is located right near the railway bridge in Palanpur. We are in the building called Dr. House, which is next to Sarthi Hospital. It is a very easy spot to find if you are coming from the village or the main part of town. Banaskantha gets very hot, and we feel it here. Being so close to the bridge means we hear the trains passing by throughout the day. You get used to the sound after a while. Our shop is simple and doesn't look like those big expensive showrooms you see in the city. We have our counters and the gold pieces we work on. Many of our visitors are just people passing through the hospital or the station. We have a fan that makes a bit of noise but it keeps us cool enough. The walls are a bit plain and could use some paint, but we don't mind. We spend most of our time sitting at the benches. We know the doctors who work next door quite well. Sometimes we have to wait for the train crossing to open so we can get to work on time. It is just a normal day-to-day life here in Gujarat. We don't have any big speeches. We just show up and do our job in this small shop.
