RAMDE HOTELS & RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED. We are located in Kuvarva, which is in the Kankrej taluka of the Banaskantha district. Our specific spot is in Kunvarvava. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the big cities, but it’s where we belong. The landscape around here is mostly open fields and small villages. It’s a very different environment for a hotel and resort company than what you’d find in Ahmedabad. We deal with a lot of local stuff and the pace of life is definitely slower. The summers get really hot and the dust can be quite something when the wind picks up. We’ve been here for a while now and we know the area like the back of our hands. Running a business in Banaskantha means you have to be ready for anything, from power cuts to strange weather. We don’t have a fancy office with glass walls; it’s just a regular building where we get the work done. We spend our time managing the property and making sure everything is in order for the people who come through. It’s hard work and it isn't always pretty, but it’s what we do. We’re just local folks trying to run a decent place in a part of Gujarat that doesn't always get a lot of attention. We like it that way, honestly. It feels real and grounded.
