We are set up behind Hotel Prime on the Deesa - Palanpur Highway. Indian Ocean Products Private Limited is located at the care of Patel Smeetaben Nimeshkumar. Being right off the highway is handy for when we have to move goods around. There’s a lot of dust from the road, especially when the big trucks go by. Our place is basically a warehouse where we manage all our stock. It can get pretty lonely out here compared to being in the middle of a city, but the space is what we need. We spend most of our hours checking inventory and loading things up. It’s not a glamorous job. We wear old clothes and spend a lot of time on our feet. The heat can be brutal in the afternoons, so we usually take a long break when the sun is at its highest. We don't have any flashy signs or big logos on the building. It’s just a practical setup for running the business. Sometimes we grab a meal at the hotel nearby when we are too tired to cook. We’ve been operating from this highway spot for a while now. We know the drivers and the local guys who help us load. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just focus on getting the work done and heading home when the sun goes down. It is quiet at night when the traffic slows.
