Bambolim Beach Resorts

Running Bambolim Beach Resorts keeps us pretty busy all year round. We are located right on Goa University Road, just a stone's throw from the sand at Bambolim Beach. It sounds like a vacation, but for us, it's a lot of work making sure the rooms are ready and the grounds are kept up. The salt air is nice but it also means things rust or peel faster than they do in the city. We spend a lot of time walking between the reception and the guest areas. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby try to get into the kitchen, which is always a bit of a struggle. The road out front can get a bit noisy with students from the university, but once you get down towards the water, it stays fairly peaceful. We have a small staff and most of us have been here for years, so we know every corner of the property. Guests often ask us for the best place to eat or where to find a quiet spot on the shore. We don't have a fancy corporate office; we mostly just handle things as they come up, whether it’s a leaky pipe or a late check-in. It’s a lifestyle as much as a job. The sun can be quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning.
