Magma Foods is situated right on N.H-5 in Gopalpur. Being on the national highway means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day and night. It’s a good spot for us because it makes it easier to get our products out onto the road. The building is a functional space, mostly dedicated to food processing and storage. We have some heavy machinery for the production side and a big area for the trucks to park. It’s not a very green or quiet area; it’s mostly about utility and getting the job done. The staff we have are people from the nearby Gopalpur area who have been with us for a while. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just make sure the food is processed properly and the hygiene is kept up as best as we can. Most of the day is spent checking batches and managing the logistics of where everything is going. The office is just a small room at the front where we handle the bills and the phone calls. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets into everything, but we keep the main areas clean. We aren’t trying to be a big corporate giant; we’re just a local food company trying to provide for the market. It’s a lot of routine work, but we take it seriously enough. We just want to get the orders right and keep the trucks moving out.
