Our shop, Tripathi Solar Agency, is located near the Balrampur City Hospital Road. We are just off the road by the Kali Mandir in Manjalpur. It’s a pretty easy place to find. We spend our days dealing with solar panels, batteries, and all the parts that go with them. It’s not just selling stuff; we spend a lot of time on people’s roofs in the sun. It’s hot work, especially in the middle of the day, but that’s when the solar panels are doing their best. We started this because people in Manjalpur wanted a way to deal with the power cuts. We aren’t some big international corporation. We’re just a local agency. We have a small warehouse area where we keep the stock. Sometimes the deliveries from the manufacturers are late and we have to tell the customers to wait a few more days, which isn’t fun but it’s how it goes. We talk to people about how many panels they might need for their lights and fans. We don't use a lot of technical jargon if we can help it. We just try to explain things in plain English. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the neighborhood well. It’s practical work that helps people save a bit on their bills, and we’re happy to be doing it right here near the hospital.
