Archana Stores

You can find Archana Stores in the New Market area of Balrampur. We’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s a general store where we keep a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood might need. From household items to small stationary bits, the shelves are usually pretty full. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. The New Market is always buzzing, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We open early and stay open until the foot traffic thins out. It's just a regular local shop. We don't have a big staff, usually just family members taking turns behind the counter. We talk to the customers about their day and what's happening in town while we bag their items. Some people have been coming to us since they were children. We don’t do any fancy marketing; people just know we’re here. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking in and out over the years. We try to keep things stocked up, but sometimes the suppliers are late and we have gaps on the shelves for a day or two. It’s just how it goes running a small store in a place like this. We like being part of the local market life. When the festival season comes, the shop gets even more packed with special items and happy faces. We just keep going, day after day, serving the folks who live nearby. It's simple work but we like it. The bell on the door rings all day long.
