Mahalaxmi Hardware Stores

We’ve been running this shop on Nakoda Road for quite a few years now. You can find us right near the Sbbj Main Branch, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. It’s a pretty standard hardware store, nothing too fancy to look at. We have shelves stacked high with all sorts of things like screws, bolts, different types of hammers, and some plumbing supplies that people often need in a hurry. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep as much stock as possible in this space. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for, but we usually get there. It’s mostly just us working here, and we know our regulars by their first names. On some days, it gets quite busy with people coming in for paint or some cement for small repairs at home. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a bit of time cleaning the counters. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here when they need something for their house. We open up the shutters early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a simple life, just helping folks get the right tool for their job. We don’t do big promotions, we just stay here and keep the shelves full. If you’re passing by the bank, you’ll see our sign. It's an honest living.
