M. G. Exports

M. G. Exports is based in Gandhipura, right near the Hanuman Temple. You can actually hear the bells from the temple throughout the day, which is a nice rhythm to work to. We have a bit of a warehouse setup here. It’s mostly about moving boxes and keeping track of what’s going where. Since we’re near the temple, the street outside can get quite crowded, especially on certain days of the week. We’ve learned to time our loadings around the busy hours. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and packing materials. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, there’s always a bit of tape stuck to the floor or some scrap paper laying around. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or fancy chairs. We just have a few desks tucked in between the stacks of goods. Some of us have been working here together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just know the drill. When the weather gets hot, we keep the big doors open to catch a breeze, even if it brings in some of the dust from the Gandhipura streets. It’s a simple operation. We deal with the paperwork when we have to, but we prefer being on our feet. It's just a regular local business doing its part near the temple grounds. We try to keep things moving as best as we can.
