Mothers Pride Higher Secondary Residential School

The school is located in Professor Colony over in Sunder Nagar. Being in Khamaria, we get a lot of students from the surrounding areas of Dhamtari. Since this is a residential school, it is a bit different from the usual day schools you see around. The kids stay here, so there is always someone on the grounds, even late in the evening. It makes the place feel more like a big house than just a set of classrooms. We handle everything from the middle years up to higher secondary. Life here is pretty steady. We wake up early, get the breakfast going, and then start the classes. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice for the students when they are trying to read or do their homework at night. It is not a very flashy place, just a solid building with enough room for everyone to live and study. We have a few trees around the property that give some shade during the summer months. The staff stays busy looking after the hostel part and the school part at the same time. Sometimes things get a little chaotic when it is time for exams or when the holidays are coming up and everyone wants to go home. We just take it one day at a time here. It has been our home and the students' home for quite a while now. We just do what needs to be done to keep the place going for the kids.
