Out in Village Risda, which is part of the Raipur district, you will find our site. We are situated near Suhela Road, which is the main way in and out of here. Emami Cement Ltd. has been operating from this location for quite some time now. It is a rural area, so we don't have the same hustle as the city, but the trucks keep us plenty busy. The yard is quite large and we have a lot of space for the inventory, which is necessary when you are moving this much weight. The office is just a small block of concrete with a few rooms. We have a small TV in the corner that we rarely turn on because there is always something to do. The weather out here gets incredibly hot in the summer and the dust from the road covers the windows. We don't have any marketing brochures or polished presentations to show you. Most of our day is spent walking around the site and talking to the local workers who help us with the loading. It is a simple life and we know most of the people passing by on Suhela Road. We don't have a fancy website or a big corporate team here. It is just a few of us making sure the cement gets sent out to the builders who need it. It is honest work and we take it one day at a time, mostly just focusing on the next truck arrival.
