Our place is located in Jalalpur Chak, which is in the Ballia district. We do two things here, we have the college part and the hospital part. It is all about Ayurvedic medicine. You can often smell the herbs and oils being prepared in the back. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we have a lot of people coming in for treatments or to learn the old ways of healing. The building is a bit spread out. We have rooms for the students to study the old texts and also areas where patients come to see the doctors. It is not like those modern glass hospitals you see in the big cities. It is more traditional and practical. The walls have been here for a while, and we do our best to keep everything clean and organized. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there are many patients waiting, but we manage. In the 277203 area, people trust this kind of medicine, so we stay busy. Our gardens have some of the plants we use, and sometimes the students help take care of them. It's not a perfect garden, but it has what we need for the medicine. Students here spend a lot of time watching and learning. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about helping people feel better and teaching the next generation. It’s hard work, but we like it.
