We are based in D Tola Bansdih which is over in Ballia, right here in Uttar Pradesh. It is a long way from the big metropolitan cities, but things are always happening in Ballia. We do both development and trading, so our days are never really the same. One morning we might be looking at a piece of land and by the afternoon we are talking about moving some goods or trading materials. It is a bit of a mix. The office is not anything special to look at, just a place in the Tola where we can sit down and talk business. We have a lot of local ties here because we have lived and worked in this area for years. People know us by name and they know where to find us if they need something. The roads in Bansdih can be a bit rough, especially for the trucks, but we manage to get things moved. We do not spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. We just talk to people face to face. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice and just watch the traffic go by while we wait for a delivery. It is a slow and steady kind of life here. We just try to keep the business running and make sure our traders are happy with the deals we make. Every day brings something different to the table.
