New-Vision Organic Producer Company Limited

Our place, New-Vision Organic Producer Company Limited, is really easy to find if you know where the Jalalganj railway station is. We are right near there in Lalpur, Jalalpur. Mr. Anwar Ali lets us use the space for the business, and he’s usually around if you need something. Being close to the station is handy for moving things around, though it does get a bit noisy when the trains go by. We focus on organic farming because that’s what people are asking for these days, and it feels like the right way to treat the earth. It started with a few of us talking about how farming used to be before all the chemicals came along. Now we are trying to bring some of those old ways back but with a bit of a plan. The office isn't much, just a desk and some chairs near the station where we can get away from the sun. It’s usually a bit dusty because of the trains and the dirt road, but we don’t mind. We talk to the local farmers and try to get them on board with the organic stuff. It takes a lot of time to convince people, but we are patient. We aren't doing this to get rich quick, it’s more about building something for the long run. Lalpur is a quiet place except for the train whistles. We like it here and we’re just regular folks trying to do honest work.
