If you are around the Main Chowk in Shastri Nagar, you will find Lakhan Hardware & Building Materials. We are on Arya Samaj Road, not far from Shahid Park. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always something going on right outside our doors. We sell all sorts of things for building and fixing houses, from bricks to small nails. We have stacks of cement bags and piles of pipes that sometimes spill out toward the front sidewalk. It is a bit messy inside, but in a way that shows we are working hard every day. People from all over Shastri Nagar come here when they are starting a new project. We have been in this spot for a long time and know the area well. We don't have a fancy layout or a showroom; we just stack things wherever they happen to fit. Sometimes we have to move three heavy things just to get to one small item hidden in the back. It is a local shop run by real people who know the trade. We wear our work boots and don't mind getting our hands dirty with grease or dust. Being near Shahid Park means we get a lot of foot traffic and people stopping by to ask for advice. We are just a basic hardware store trying to provide what the neighborhood needs. It is a busy and honest place.
