Cvt Textiles Private Limited

Cvt Textiles is based out of Chakchadiya Majhawa, over at Arvind Nath Tripathi’s place. It’s a small operation, really. We don’t have a big sign or a paved parking lot. It’s just a house and some workspace where we handle our textile business. Most of our days are spent talking to local suppliers or checking on the orders we’ve got going. It’s a lot of manual work, moving bags and rolls around. We don’t use fancy software to track things; a lot of it is just written down in ledgers. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually start early to get the heavy lifting done before the sun is too high. Being in a village like Majhawa means you can't really hide if you make a mistake. Word gets around fast. So we just try to be fair and keep things simple. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We’re happy just staying small and keeping the business running smoothly. It's a quiet life for the most part, except when the trucks come to pick up the goods. Then it’s all hands on deck to get everything loaded and checked off. It’s honest work, and it keeps us grounded. We usually finish up as the sun starts to set and then go home to our families. It is a good way to live, all things considered.
